The Phat Golf Scooter HD is powered by a 20-amp lithium battery. Fully charged it should go 36 holes but this can vary by rider weight, rider style and course terrain. It is rated for 1000 charges. You can also buy spare batteries and because they clip in and out and they can be charged separately.

How long does it take to charge the battery and how long should a normal battery last?
The battery can be fully charged in 6 hours. The battery should last 1000 rounds of golf.

How fast do Phat Golf HD units travel?
Fat tire scooter have three speeds. 8 MPH, 13 MPH, and 19.8 MPH. and 13 MPH for golf. The speed settings can be locked.      

What is the weight limit on the Phat Golf HD?
Fat tire electric scooter maximum carrying capacity is 350 lbs. Please do not allow more than one person to operate or ride the fat scooter at a time.

Is the Phat Scooter HD waterproof?
Phatty fat scooters are designed to withstand normal wet conditions on a golf course and they can be used in the rain. The units can be sprayed off with water for cleaning, but can not to be submerged in water.

What is the weight of the units?
The Phat Golf HD weighs 1‍40 lbs without a bag rack and 170 lbs‍ with a bag rack. It impacts the course much less that normal golf cart. Less compaction means less maintenance, most superintendents love this idea!

What type of terrain will the Phat Golf HD handle?
The Phat Scooters will handle hills with up to a 30% grade and is designed to comfortably handle the irregularities of golf course terrain. However, the Phat Golf HD is not an all-terrain vehicle and should not be used as such.

Phat scooters golf use a GPS cellular tracker to count the rounds. They do rely on the operator’s honesty and only use this if our round count is more that 5% off your stated rounds per month. Billing is done at the end of each month.
